About this home

Behind a timber door and a cascade of bougainvillea lies Casa Elida: a recently renovated two-storey house in one of the quietest gated beachfront resorts on the Costa del Sol. Mornings start in the private courtyard, with breakfast under the olive tree. The evenings belong to the charcoal grill and a long table outside.

Inside, the ground floor opens up into one light-filled space. A sleek white kitchen with stone worktops flows into the dining table and a living room with a fireplace, and wooden shutters let the Andalusian sun in on your terms. Upstairs are two calm bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and two bathrooms, one of them ensuite. Fibre wifi and a dedicated desk make it just as easy to stay for a month and work.

Step outside and the resort does the rest. There are four swimming pools and a children's pool set in subtropical gardens, direct access to a wide sandy beach and its seafront promenade, plus restaurants, a beach bar and a supermarket on site. A bus to Estepona, Puerto Banús and Marbella stops at the resort every 30 minutes.
